What Is "Peace on Earth"?

Off the cuff? Man, our website is done! Yayhooooooooo!!!

Anyway, this Christmas, many of us may be craving some peace. For my husband and I, and many family members, this has been a very difficult year. Generally speaking, I’m sure it has been a difficult year for many Americans and individuals all around the world.

This year many of us may have come to the end of a battle or two we’ve been fighting. However, we can always with joy and humility express what really matters to us most, and that is each other, our families, our friends, and even our pets!

I hope that everyone can at least put up their feet this Christmas and not take for granted a sugary dessert and a cup of steaming coffee or tea…Oh, and don’t forget to stir in a little solitude.

It seems essential to ponder close the solitude of the moment of peace when we have come to the end of a difficult journey. However, it is not the finality of any one difficulty that should bring us peace, because that is fleeting as we soon turn to discover another obstacle down the path we travel. Peace comes from the knowledge that we can face the challenge again, in a new year, and that giving up is never an option.

May the new year bring you that Peace and continued strength!
